The Second Phase Activities of GIFC 

The goal of the second phase (2008-2020) is to partner with ethanol producers (particularly the farmer-owned ethanol plants) by providing funds required to convert grain-ethanol plants to co-produce grain- and cellulosic-ethanol.  GIFC will partner with ethanol producers to provide them with financial and technical support.  In addition, GIFC will also partner with new ethanol producers, assisting them to build new plants to co-produce grain-ethanol and cellulosic ethanol, or to produce cellulosic ethanol alone.

GIFC is a consultant and collaborator, not a competitor, of ethanol producers or owners of other commercial establishments.
